“Ben 10” gets his biggest fight to date inside the Octagon in the form of two-time title challenger Joseph Benavidez in Auckland this June.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced a pivotal flyweight tilt between former challenger Joseph Benavidez and Ben Nguyen for the promotion’s return to Auckland, New Zealand.

Benavidez (25-4 MMA, 12-2 UFC) aims to secure his seventh straight win in Auckland after defeating Henry Cejudo last December at the TUF 24 Finale. The Team Alpha Male product hasn’t tasted defeat since yielding to longtime champ Demetrious Johnson in 2013 and is gunning for another shot at “Mighty Mouse”.

Nguyen (16-6 MMA, 3-1 UFC) meanwhile draws his biggest fight of his career to date after inking a new four-fight deal with the promotion. He is coming of a unanimous decision victory over Geane Herrera and is gunning for his second win streak inside the promotion.

Also set to appear on the card is Australian Top Team’s Ashkan Mokhtarian who is making his UFC debut. The Sydney-based fighter will take on John Moraga.

A heavyweight matchup between Derrick Lewis and New Zealand’s own Mark Hunt headlines the card happening this June 11, 2017 at the Vector Arena.
