According to an announcement by the promotion today through their website, Pitpitunge (8-5) is set to face Mexico’s Ivan Lopez in the promotion’s maiden event. The Baguio native aims to snap a two-fight skid at the hands of current PXC flyweight champ Jenel Lausa and Kai Kara-France, who now competes in The Ultimate Fighter 24 for a shot at UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.

Lopez (13-2-1) is a veteran of the Latin American fight scene and is coming off a victory in his home country of Mexico at Glory Fights 1. The Mexican has also fought under WEC, where he lost to now UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz via unanimous decision.

A welterweight tilt between Lebanon’s Mohammad Fakhreddine and Brazil’s Thiago Vieira Damascena headlines the Brave CF 1 card.
