Dan Hardy on McGregor’s actions at Bellator event: “It’s amazing how quickly money corrupts.”

Dan Hardy Conor

Former UFC fighter and fight commentator Dan Hardy isn’t a fan of lightweight champ Conor McGregor’s actions at Bellator 187 in Ireland.

“The Notorious” has recently made headlines once again, but not for the right reasons. Following Charlie Ward’s knockout win at Bellator 187 in Dublin, McGregor stormed the cage to celebrate with Ward, his SBG teammate. That’s when things went awry.

McGregor, who wasn’t a licensed cornerman, was told by veteran referee Marc Goddard to leave the cage. That didn’t sit well with the Irish champ. McGregor pushed Goddard and appeared to slap an official during the fracas.

This wasn’t the first time for the two men crossed paths. Few weeks ago, Goddard also reprimanded McGregor in Gdansk for acting as a coach cageside despite not being part of Artem Lobov’s official corner.

With all that has happened, Dan Hardy gave his two cents in a Twitter post regarding McGregor’s actions. “The Outlaw” believes that the UFC champion may have gone too far and that money and success have changed him.
