geje eustaquio

Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio is now the ONE interim flyweight champion.

Four out of six Filipinos on last night’s ONE card in Manila walked away with a victory. The prelims had plenty of impressive finishes care of the Pinoy fighters.

Edward Kelly scored a headkick KO in 21 seconds

It didn’t take long for Kelly to pick up his 10th pro MMA victory. His jab-straight-kick combination landed perfectly, dropping opponent Meas Meu to the canvas unconscious.

Pacio gets the tapout

Joshua “The Passion” Pacio made quick work of Lan Ming Qiang, winning via rear-naked choke submission in the first round.

Torres’ 40-second slam

Jomary Torres pulled off yet another impressive win to stay undefeated at 4-0. She knocked out notable Pinay fighter April Osenio using a slam while defending an armbar attempt.

“Gravity” wins gold

Eustaquio’s split decision win after five rounds versus Kairat Akhmetov was the highlight of the night, as the victory gave “Gravity” the interim flyweight title.

Besides Osenio, Eric Kelly was another Filipino on the card who didn’t pick up a win. Older brother to Edward, Eric lost to Rafael Nunes via Brabo choke submission in the second round. He’s now dropped four consecutive fights, all via stoppage.
