The UFC has announced five of the 12 fights that will be featured on the UFC Singapore card scheduled for June 17.

The card is set to feature a former heavyweight champion and plenty of notable names from the Asia-Pacific circuit, according to the UFC.

In the heavyweight division, former champ Andrei Arlovski will take on Marcin Tybura, who was set to fight on the 2016 Manila card before it was rescheduled.

Additionally, former PRIDE FC star Takanori Gomi will be on the card as he takes on Guaminian John Tuck, who fought on the UFC Manila card in 2015, where he picked up a Performance of the Night bonus.

In the flyweight division, Justin Scoggins will face Japan’s Ulka Sasaki. Meanwhile, it appears that reigning Pacific Xtreme Combat bantamweight champion Kwan Ho Kwak has vacated his belt to sign with the UFC, as he’s scheduled to take on Hawaiian striker Russel Doane.

The second heavyweight bout announced for UFC Singapore will feature Cyril “Silverback” Asker versus Walt “Big Ticket” Harris.

The main event and co-main event of UFC Singapore have yet to be announced.

Tickets for the event go on sale on April 7 and can be bought at www.sportshubtix.sg. Fans are encouraged to visit www.ufc.com/singapore to pre-register for tickets which will give them access to pre-sales promotions running from April 5-7.
