Matsushima vs. Aguon booked for Pancrase 292

Two former Pacific Xtreme Combat (PXC) standouts will face each other this December in Tokyo, Japan.

One-time PXC bantamweight champ Kyle Aguon is slated to face Koyomi Matsushima at Pancrase 292.

After his failed attempt to regain his belt against Trevin Jones in 2016, “Money” Aguon regained his winning form at 145-pounds. The 28-year-old Guamanian is coming off back-to-back victories at Pancrase since moving up to featherweight.

He now tries to make it three in a row against fellow PXC alum Koyomi Matsushima. The native of Yokohama, Japan is having a strong showing as of late since his knockout loss to Rolando Dy at PXC 53. Matsushima is riding a two fight win streak after coming out victorious against former UFC vet Yusuke Kazuya last August.

Pancrase 292 takes place at the Differ Ariake Arena in downtown Tokyo on December 10, 2017.
