Holm

UFC Fight Night Singapore is in the books and Dojo Drifter photographer Mike Miguel was Octagon-side to capture the action.

The Singapore Indoor Stadium played host to UFC Fight Night 111 last weekend, which featured three former UFC champions and a bevy of talent from around the globe.

In the main event, Holly Holm defeated Bethe Correia via head kick in the third round. The first two rounds left much to be desired, as neither fighter was willing to engage. Not many strikes were thrown, but Holm needed just a few to put the Brazilian away.

In the co-main event, Marcin Tybura outworked former heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski to win via unanimous decision.

Additionally on the main card, Singapore’s adopted son Rafael Dos Anjos beat Belgium’s Tarec Saffiedine via unanimous decision, picking up his first victory as a UFC welterweight.

The undercard had some of the most action-packed bouts, including the Fight of the Night between Li Jingliang and Frank Camacho. You can find the complete UFC Fight Night Singapore results and bonuses here.

Local Efforts

There were two Filipinos on the card at UFC Singapore, but neither was able to bring home the victory.

CJ de Tomas fell to Naoki Inoue via unanimous decision, while Rolando Dy lost to UFC veteran Alex Caceres via TKO (Doctor’s Stoppage).

Both Filipinos have vowed to come back stronger after their UFC debuts.
