Jenel “The Demolition Man” Lausa aims to bounce back from his recent loss as he faces Naoki Inoue in the fifth UFC Fight Night Japan.

Lausa (7-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) looks to regain his winning form after yielding to Magomed Bibulatov at UFC 210 last April. The Concepcion, Iloilo native will be taking on the undefeated Naoki Inoue (11-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC).

Following a successful UFC debut over CJ de Tomas last month in Singapore, Inoue attempts to extend his eleven-fight win streak. This time, the younger sibling of current Invicta FC fighter Mizuki Inoue will have hometown advantage in his favor. This bout has been confirmed by UFC officials.

Also, highly-touted strikers Gokhan Saki (0-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Syuri Kondo (5-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) are set to make their Octagon debuts in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Saki, best known for his stint in kickboxing promotion Glory, where he held its light-heavyweight belt, will make his MMA return against Henrique da Silva.

Like Saki, reigning Strawweight Queen of Pancrase, Syuri Kondo (5-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will also be on the card. Currently undefeated in five fights, the 28-year-old is a well-versed striker who has also competed in shoot-boxing with a record of 13-1.

In addition to that, Kondo is expected to bring a huge following to the UFC, given her success in Japan’s professional wrestling scene. She is set to face South Korea’s Chan Jeon-Mi (5-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC).

A light heavyweight showdown between former champ Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Ovince St.-Preux will serve as the main event of the card happening at the Saitama Super Arena on September 23.
