Kwan Ho Kwak joins UFC; debuts in UFC Fight Night 99

South Korea’s Kwan Ho Kwak is UFC’s new addition in its emerging rosters from the Asian region.

[mks_dropcap style=”square” size=”52″ bg_color=”#1588db” txt_color=”#ffffff”]K[/mks_dropcap]wan Ho Kwak will make his Octagon debut in the undercard of UFC Fight Night 99 in Belfast, Ireland.

The 27-year old former Pacific Xtreme Combat and TOP FC bantamweight champion will be facing fellow undefeated fighter, Brett Johns (12-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) of Wales. South Korean news outlet Naver first reported the news earlier today.

Prior to signing with the UFC, Kwan Ho Kwak (9-0 MMA) is coming off a successful title defense of his TOP FC belt over UFC vet Alp Ozkilic in May at TOP FC 11. Aside from that, he defeated Kyle Aguon to claim the PXC 135-pound belt via unanimous decision Last January.

Kwak becomes the fourth Korean Top Team fighter to fight in the UFC, joining teammates Bang Tae Hyun, Dongi Yang and Hyun Gyu Lim.
