Two-time title contender Rolando Gabriel Dy renews PXC contract for three more fights.

Top Filipino featherweight fighter Gabriel Dy renews PXC contract and he announced it on his social media account. In the post, he cited reasons of continuing to compete under the promotion.

After a brief interview with DojoDrifter.com, he also hinted that his possible return inside the Terrordome might happen in the middle of the year.

I will chose to stay in the PXC for some reasons, first is because I trust them, 2nd they pay me right, 3rd my main goal is to be in the UFC (PXC is proven to send their best fighters in the UFC), and lastly I want to be one of the best in the world.

“Signed the renewal of my contract in the PXC today. I can see a lot of MMA orgs doing great and I am happy to see that. It will help a lot of fighters who are dreaming to be in a big league. But I will chose to stay in the PXC for some reasons, first is because I trust them, 2nd they pay me right, 3rd my main goal is to be in the UFC (PXC is proven to send their best fighters in the UFC), and lastly I want to be one of the best in the world, I can go to other orgs and kill every one [sic] in the division but I will not gain anything by doing that.”

The two-time bantamweight title contender ends his post with a grateful remark: “Thank you PXC for the trust. Another year!” Dy is currently on a three fight win streak since moving to 145 pounds after suffering back-to-back losses to Kyle Aguon for the bantamweight belt. His most recent win came via unanimous decision of Australia’s Aydin Mrouki at PXC 55 last November.
