Team Lakay’s Crisanto Pitpitunge out of Brave CF 1 card in Bahrain

“The Slugger” Crisanto Pitpitunge will have to wait to get his redemption fight.

Team Lakay standout Crisanto Pitpitunge will no longer be part of the first Brave Combat Federation card this September.

Through its website, the promotion announced that former PXC bantamweight champion has sustained a knee injury in preparation for the fight against Ivan Lopez of Mexico. It was added that the organization is currently searching for Pitpitunge’s replacement.

With this recent development, Stephen Loman will be the lone Filipino fighter on the card. The 23-year old fellow PXC fighter will be facing former IMMAF champion Frans Mlambo of Ireland.

The welterweight tilt between Mohammad Fakhreddine and Thiago Vieira Damascena headlines the first Brave CF card this September 23 at the Khalifa Sports City, Isa Town in Bahrain.
