Team Lakay’s Gina Iniong will make her ONE Championship debut in Manila against Filipino-English Natalie Gonzales Hills.
Iniong made a name for herself under Guam-based promotion Pacific Xtreme Combat, where she went 3-1 as the promotion’s first Filipina fighter. On April 21, she’ll make her ONE Championship debut in the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Philippines.
Her first test will be the “Kilapino,” Fil-English fighter Natalie Gonzales Hills, who’s struggled in the promotion, losing to Team Lakay’s April Osenio and eventual division champion Angela Lee. Hills will be looking to break the skid when she takes on Iniong.
Both fighters are amongst many Filipino fighters who’ll be on the card, including lightweight champion Eduard Folayang, Kevin Belingon, Eugene Toquero, and more.
Notably, renowned Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belter Michelle Nicolino will also be on the card as she takes on the very dangerous Irina Mazepa, who’s handily beaten ONE’s top prospects in Ann Osman and Ana Julaton.
