Four Pinoy Fighters are set to compete in Thailand Fighting Championship 2 this April.

Thailand Fighting Championship will feature four Pinoy fighters in their second card this April 1, 2017 Khao Lak, Thailand.

Spearheaded by former URCC title challenger Onyok Trasmonte, he will be joined by Ryan Jakiri, Biondi Dayangadang and Michael Mondragon to represent the country in the card.

Transmonte (5-3) makes his MMA comeback after over two years in the sidelines. He will be taking on Canadian Cole Smith (2-0) in a 140-pound catchweight bout.

Baguio City’s Biondi Dayangadang (3-0) is gunning for his fourth straight victory against Detchadin Srosirisuphathin (3-3) while Muay Thai standout Jakiri (0-1) faces Jaktan Tangjan (2-4).

In the main event, Michael Mondragon will make his MMA debut opposite Thanongsaklek “Top Noi” TigerMuayThai (2-1).

Thai Fighting Championship’s Will Chope hopes that the promotion would serve as another venue for the fighters to compete and sharpen their skills.

“My goal is to promote Southeast Asian MMA – Thais and even other Filipinos as well. Like I’ve been talking with a few guys from the Cordillera, Baguio.” Chope tells Dojo Drifter. “I want to get these fighters ready for the next level like UFC or ONE FC and hopefully TFC can be that avenue for these guys.”
