UFC 205 marks the retirement of Miesha Tate, the former UFC and Strikeforce women’s champion.

During the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Tate said, I’m announcing my retirement. You guys, I love you all so much. I’ve been doing this for over a decade.” She added, “Thank you so much for being here. I love this sport forever, but it’s not my time anymore, it’s the future’s time.”
“I guess that I had a lot more to give but I can’t pull it out of myself, you know? It’s been a long time taking a lot of punishment. I still love this sport, I love you guys so much, but this is it for me.”
The 30-year old Tate ends her MMA career with a record of 18-7.
