UFC 211 had a stacked card and a little bit of everything. Eddie Alvarez’s bout with Dustin Poirier was a barn-burner, but it ended anti-climactically as an accidental illegal knee from Alvarez brought the fight to a No Contest.

On the main card, Frankie Edgar proved why he’s one of the best featherweights in the world by derailing the rise of Yair Rodriguez with a TKO (doctor’s stoppage) in the second round.

Jorge Masvidal also had his momentum brutally stopped in his fight against BJJ wizard Demian Maia, who won via unanimous decision.

In the co-main events, both champions successfully defended their belts.
