UFC Gym is coming to the Philippines

The Philippines will get its first ever UFC Gym in early 2017, located at Glorietta in Makati City.

UFC Gym announced today an exclusive 10-year partnership with Fitspiration Philippines Corporation to open 30 branches in the Philippines.

It says in an article on UFC.com:

“We’re very excited to embark on this exclusive partnership to expand UFC GYM’s global footprint throughout the Philippines,” UFC Gym Chief Executive Officer Brent Leffel said. “Filipino fight fans understand our brand and partnering with Fitspiration PH is a perfect fit to help Manilla’s fitness enthusiasts Train Different while working to achieve their individual fitness goals.”

Though no other branches have officially been announced, sources close to UFC Gym tell Dojo Drifter that branches in Taguig, Ortigas, and UP Town Center are being eyed following the launch of the flagship branch in Makati.

The UFC Gym branches in the Philippines will offer the same amenities as its foreign branches, including lessons in several martial arts, fitness facilities, and group classes.

The first UFC Gym opened in 2009 and has since spawned over 135 branches in the US, UAE, Canada, Australia, and South America.
