UFC Shanghai adds Alex Caceres vs Wang Guan, Li Jingliang vs Zak Ottow

UFC Shanghai Caceres

“Bruce Leeroy” will take his act to Asia once again along with China’s very own Li Jingliang for UFC Shanghai.

Coming off a victory in Singapore, Alex Caceres returns to Asia this November in Shanghai to face Wang Guan.

This bout was initially scheduled last June but was scrapped after Wang was forced to pull out due to an undisclosed injury. Now, the 31-year old “Dongbei Tiger” will finally get to showcase his skills inside the Octagon opposite the 28-year-old MMA Lab standout.

In addition to that, the UFC has also added Li Jingliang vs. Zak Ottow for the first UFC card in mainland China.

Perhaps China’s front runner in the UFC today, Li puts his three fight win streak on the line in front of the hometown crowd. His opponent Ottow, on the other hand, is a 30-year-old standout from Wisconsin who’s coming off a split decision win over Kiichi Kunimoto last June in Auckland, New Zealand.

Former middleweight champ Anderson Silva and contender Kelvin Gastellum will headline the card happening on November 25 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in downtown Shanghai.

UFC Shanghai announced bouts:
Anderson Silva vs. Kelvin Gastellum
Alex Caceres vs. Wang Guan
Kailyn Curran vs. Yan Xiaonan
Gina Mazany vs. Wu Yanan
Chase Sherman vs. Shamil Abdurahimov
Zabit Magomedsharipov vs. Sheymon Moraes
Li Jingliang vs. Zak Ottow
Muslim Salikhov vs. Alex Garcia
