CJ de Tomas and Do Gyeom Lee, defending champions in the flyweight and featherweight divisions, were put to the test by such resilient rivals.

CJ de Tomas caught a flying knee from Alvin Ramirez that opened a major cut on his forehead. Undeterred, the young champion relied on his grappling skills to weather another brutal strike and ended the victor. Meanwhile, Lee stood toe-to-toe against the very tough Ryan dela Cruz. Both men took hard shots, but the Korean’s diverse attacks secured his first title defense.

Current light heavyweight champion Chris Hofmann came out successful in his campaign for the vacant middleweight strap. He finished a highly confident contender in John Adajar and becomes the a two-division champ. Geli Bulaong has also made a history becoming the first women’s flyweight champion of URCC. She made quick work of Chinese fighter Yan Qi Hui to clinch the belt.
