URCC BETS 2 Results: Caloy Baduria wins via DQ

Ready for the title: Caloy Baduria finally gets a chance at the URCC light heavy-weight belt.

Caloy Baduria won via DQ in the main event of URCC BETS 2.

Things weren’t looking so good for Baduria when he was fending off strikes from his back while Musa Conteh was secured with the full mount. However, following the Pro-Am rules being used in this fight, elbow strikes were not allowed.

Conteh threw elbow strikes from mount, prompting seasoned URCC referee Franco Rulloda to step in and stop the action, disqualifying Conteh for using a banned strike.

The co-main event also ended on surprising terms. Jiar Castillo took on four-time title-contender Alvin Ramirez in the flyweight division. As Castillo executed a takedown, Ramirez posted his arm out. The impact broke the forearm of Ramirez, forcing his corner to throw in the towel between rounds. More details of his injury here.
