Wonderboy wants Woodley next or winner of Lawler-RDA fight

stephen thompson

Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson is weighing his options.

Thompson is fresh off an impressive decision win over No. 4-ranked welterweight Jorge Masvidal at UFC 217. Now, he seems like a shoe-in to fight once again for the title. There’s one problem though: He’s lost to the current champ Tyron Woodley twice already.

Thompson said post-UFC 217 that he’d love to get a third crack at Woodley and his belt but would understand if that fight isn’t booked right away.

If he has to fight one more time before getting a title shot just to prove his case, then he’d like to do it against the winner of Robbie Lawler vs. Rafael Dos Anjos, which happens at Fight Night Winnipeg in December.

Who do you want to see “Wonderboy” face next: Woodley, Lawler, or Dos Anjos?
